Winston Wardwell | Fortunate California Sun

All healed up and ready to go, Winston is in the streets of San Clemente almost every day he can to film for the upcoming Razors vid. He’s been skating so much in fact, that his hard drive is overloaded with clips from last year, so he had to sit down with his buddy, Alejoh, and put a little something together to keep us up to date on his skating. This edit shows how rugged Winston is on the blades. Every trick he does requires full commitment, no pussy-footing around for this hombre. He’s a straight shooting sonuva-gun and he’s got the trick vocabulary and spot selection that’ll keep you wanting more.

Ryan Timms doesn’t Care-olina

‘Right when school let out for my holiday break, i gathered up a few people and went to Charlotte NC for the weekend. Currently, my friends and I are working on a video based around North Carolina blading, and we are going to call it “I Don’t Carolina.” While everyone else is working on their profiles for that, I am still trying to stack clips for the Razors AM video. Charlotte was a lot of fun, we hit up lots of really dope famous spots that Dre and Montre have tons of clips on. The AO Acid is from Frazier park in Charlotte, oldie but goodie. It was my first time skating there, and that rail was awesome. Its a bit high at the top, but still really dope.

Next we went to West Mecklenburg High school, you might not recognize the part that I am skating, but right next to that is the big blue down ledge that everyone in Charlotte area skates. Im pretty sure theres a clip somewhere of Montre doing a 540 AO soul on it, and it was a spot in an old Charlotte comp if im not mistaken. Anyway, they put a rail against the ledge now, so its almost impossible to hit, so we ended up skating these really high ledges instead. I am really lovin my Dre’s, and cannot wait to get some more clips with these bad boys! Thanks to Razors for the kick ass blades, Rollerwarehouse for the sweet custom parts, and shout outs to Walker Anderson for taking such amazing photos.
