“Dre Powell, Dazed Owl, legendary freestyle roller…” Dre has been in the game for a long time, and if I’ve learned one thing about him – DO NOT SLEEP. If you’ve ever gone thru any doubt about Dre’s ability to produce, it’s a fact that you’ve been proven wrong. With video sections dating back to 1997 with Atlanta Video Magazine to his current release in Game Theory, The Dazed Owl has proven himself again and again. It cannot be argued that he is one of the most influential bladers in modern day rolling history. Always pushing the illest style and effectively promoting his music career..that’s right, Dre has produced original music for 6 of his many video sections. And doesn’t show any sign of stopping.
Now a new resident in California, he’s constantly moving forward, staying involved in a number of projects benefitting both skating and any industry associated. He enjoys skating the same as he did at day one, strapping up every day and trying anything. He’s somehow found his way thru the fog of trends and kept his own vision, keeping an incredible balance of fun, creativity, and progression.
